David Goble, Daniel Library Director, to Speak!

 


David Goble currently serves as Director of the Daniel Library, Citadel Archives and Museum.  He is a 1969 graduate of The Citadel and a former Marine.  He is a Vietnam Veteran.  In addition to his BA in English from The Citadel, he has earned an MA in American Literature from the University of South Carolina and an MS in Information and Library Science from the University of North Carolina  at Chapel Hill.  David spent 18 years in banking prior to his decision to seek his fortune in libraries.

 

David will speak on his vision for the Daniel Library, The Citadel  Archives, and the Museum.  He will also address recent acquisitions: The Tew Sword and the James B. White Sword.

 
 
Registration Deadline is Midnight Wednesday prior to the event. This is to ensure proper ordering of food.
