Annual Remembrance Muster

Bring your Spouse, Family, Kids, Friends and Co-Workers!

The Club is working hard to bring you a great Annual Remembrance Muster, with a solemn commemoration of the brothers and sisters that we've lost this past year.  The Muster will begin after Retreat, a little after at 18:00 (6 pm).  Please be checked in no later than 17:45 (5:45 pm).  We should be complete with the roll call of the departed  by 18:45 (6:45 pm).  

Business Casual attire is requested. 

Check in and registration is at the Mark Clark Hall Reception Room.


There are two components to the Muster: 

Roll Call of the Departed on the patio of Mark Clark Hall to be performed by alumni and current cadets. FREE to everyone.

Dinner at Buyer Auditorium in Mark Clark Hall. Please pre-register and then pay online, or at the door.

March 25th 5:45pm-8:30pm @ Buyer Auditorium in Mark Clark Hall.  

Menu: Crusted Pork Loin

Corps Day, the 20th of March, is the birthday of the Corps of Cadets and is the date in 1843 when the first Corps reported to The Citadel. Muster is held every year, on or about this date, around the world to remember and honor those members of the Long Grey Line who have passed during the preceding year.

  • 17:15-17:45 Check in and registration in the Mark Clark Reception Room with Bag Piper
  • Retreat is sounded
  • Introduction of the Remembrance Muster Ceremony
  • Roll call of the Departed, gun salute. Taps is played. 
  • Proceed to the Buyer Auditorium (Second Floor of Mark Clark Hall) for those that have registered for the Banquet
  • 1900 – Cadet Prayer & Alma Mater, everyone seated and dinner is served. 
  • Guest Speaker: Major Steven Smith, Citadel Historian.
